Three deals signed at 1916 Park Avenue
January 28, 2009
ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC has recently brokered three deals at 1916 Park Avenue for both office and storage use.
• Koen Media Productions satisfied their need for larger post production facilities with a move to 1916 Park Avenue, signing a three year lease.
• Super Surgical Corporation, a medical supply company represented by Norman Franfort of Oak Real Estate, also signed a three year lease and relocated their offices from Long Island.
• Absolute Piano, a popular Harlem piano retailer with a storefront location on Park Avenue between 116th Street & 117th Street, signed a two year lease for inventory storage.
The 145,000 sf building’s proximity and easy access to the Harlem River Drive and 125th Street combined with aggressive rents make it ideal for a variety of uses. Furniture upholsterers/refinishers, remodeling and renovation trades and others needing good quality, low rent space, in close proximity to Manhattan’s Upper East Side residential area will find oversized freight elevator and Loft style units possessing wonderful light, high ceilings and wood floors. Currently availabilities range from 320 rsf – 10,000 rsf.
Also in the area ABS Partners has been retained to market 1940 Park Avenue, a retail site located on the northwest corner of Park Avenue and East 131st Street. The 10,000 sf site is currently vacant and the owner is contemplating the construction of a 1-story plus basement (for a total of 20,000SF) first class retail building.
Douglas Regal, Jay Kreisberg and Randy Modell are handling the assignment for ABS Partners and can be reached at (212) 400-6060.
