TargetSpot Leases Full Floor at 242 West 36th Street

TargetSpot recently signed a lease for the entire 3rd floor of 6,300 square feet at 242 West 36th Street.
TargetSpot is a revolutionary new advertising platform that enables businesses of all sizes and budgets to advertise their products and services to the ever-growing Internet radio listening audience. TargetSpot, which bills itself as a kind of virtual advertising agency, will allow clients to create their own commercials from a menu of options as well as define and locate their audience using demographic data or geographic information like zip codes.
For its part, CBS Radio is trying to attract businesses that have either not advertised in the past or have done so only in local newspapers or inserts because traditional radio was too costly. David Goodman, president of marketing for CBS Radio, said that he saw ways for advertisers of all sizes to use TargetSpot.
Funding is provided by one of the largest media companies in the world (CBS) and one of the top VC’s in New York City, Union Square Ventures. In addition to the funding, CBS completed a long-term deal with TargetSpot to let them sell their inventory in their streaming radio stations.
